We are actively looking for a small property to purchase/Lease Long-Term
When we launched our farm in 2018 we started with a ⅓ acre rental property. We have now moved the whole farm to another rented property but we are still on the hunt! In order to attain our long term goals and feed more people, we need to move to a permanent location. For our farm business to run optimally and successfully, we need to have long term security in the land we farm. Our entire livelihood is dependant on the farmland we have access to and it is not sustainable for us to keep moving our farm when a lease is up. Security in our land access means being able to invest in adequate infrastructure/greenhouses and soil stewardship efforts.
We do not require a traditional agriculture property to run our business. The advantage of our model is that we can grow intensively on minimal acreage and we only need a maximum of 1.5 acres workable field.
Here are a few essential land characteristics we are in search of:
Access to potable water and electricity
Irrigation source, ie. pond, deep well, stream
A home suitable for a single family
1.5 acre workable field
Road access
High speed internet and cell phone reception
Location
within 2 hours of Toronto and our existing markets
Dufferin, Simcoe, Muskoka, Kawartha Lakes counties, Northern Durham Region and York Region.

Water access
We are open to discussing any and all land access opportunities we have not yet considered. Most important is we find a piece of land and housing for the long-term so to invest our time, capital, energy and resources wisely.
We wish to take responsibility for a piece of farmland and steward it for future generations through regenerative farming.
